A building super was carjacked at gunpoint this morning while shoveling snow in the West Village, law enforcement sources said.
The victim had the truck on and warming up while he was digging it out as well as clearing the surrounding sidewalk on Christopher Street near Hudson Street around 9:15 a.m., sources said.
That’s when the thief came up and flashed a silver gun and hopped in the light blue Dodge Ram and took off toward the West Side Highway, sources said.
The suspect was wearing a brown jacket, black pants and a red hat and was last seen heading north on West Street.
