Barbie seems OK, but who’s at risk when ‘Dome’ returns

It looks like Barbie (Mike Vogel) will be sticking around for a while “Under the Dome.”

Producers for the CBS drama, back June 30 for Season 2, have teased the news that two characters will be killed off in the season premiere. But in this exclusive photo from the second episode of the new season (airing July 7), Barbie discovers a school locker with a bloody handprint — which belongs to one of the axed characters.

“We will be exploring [the school] this year because we introduce a new character [Karla Chrome] who is a high school science teacher — high school is not safe,” executive producer Neal Baer tells The Post.

Both Chrome and Eddie Cahill — who plays a new character, Junior’s (Alexander Koch) reclusive uncle — will be introduced in the season premiere, which was written by “Dome” author Stephen King (the series is based on King’s 2009 novel).

Baer says King brought his “wonderful, wicked sense of humor” to the script. “No one is safe from their household appliances,” he teases. “Just when you thought you were safe in your kitchen … This is a season of transformation that will launch our characters on new journeys to find out what they’re really made of.

“And new love triangles will be forming.”
