Jets WR Hill: ‘Nothing is scaring me about Revis’

Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill is ready for Revis Island.

The second-year Jet says he is not worried if the Buccaneers star cornerback lines up against him. Hill and Revis squared off last year in training camp when Revis was still a Jet.

“If I get Revis, I just get Revis,” Hill said this week. “I was practicing against him all last year in camp, so nothing is scaring me about Revis.”

Hill said his play against Revis last year in camp gives him confidence.

“I had some good success against him,” Hill said. “He had some good success against me, but I’m not gonna say if it was a win and lost battle at that, because it was up and down, but I’m not gonna make it to be a point where it was a tiebreaker and we’re trying to figure out a thing. But other than that, he is a very smart corner, I learned a lot from him, he told me a lot, and I just want to use that as a little stepping stone just to get an edge on top of him if I get a chance to go against him.”

Would he look forward to facing Revis?

“Yes, I would definitely look forward to it,” he said.

With No. 1 Jets wideout Santonio Holmes expected to play, Revis likely will spend time on both Hill and Holmes.
