There goes Johnny! Jack retiring ‘as he battles memory problems’

There goes “Johnny!”

Acting legend Jack Nicholson is retiring from the movie biz after more than 50 years, according to Radar Online.

The Oscar-winning star of “The Shining” — who hasn’t appeared in a flick since 2010 — is throwing in the towel because he can no longer remember his lines, a Hollywood insider told the publication.

“Jack has — without fanfare — retired,” the source said.

“There is a simple reason behind his decision — it’s memory loss. Quite frankly, at 76, Jack has memory issues and can no longer remember the lines being asked of him,” the source said.

But even though his acting career may be kaput, he still plans to make plenty of high-profile cameos off screen.

“Jack has no intention of retiring from the limelight,” said the source, who noted he’ll still be spotted courtside at NBA Lakers games in Los Angeles.

Nicholson has been acting in movies since the 1950s — winning Best Actor Oscars for the movies “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and “As Good as It Gets.”
