Another Cushman & Wakefield walkout

The talent drain from Cushman & Wakefield’s Manhattan office continues, as ace commercial broker Jared Horowitz is heading out the door to Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

Horowitz joined Cushman’s Midtown office in 2001. His clients have included the Trump Organization and RXR Realty on the landlord side and tenants such as JP Morgan Chase and Vitamin Shoppe.

His exit comes on the heels of last week’s defection from Cushman to Newmark by the high-flying trio of Andrew Peretz, Andrew Sachs and Timothy Gibson.

Through a rep, Newmark declined to comment. Cushman reps couldn’t immediately be reached, and Horowitz didn’t respond to an email.

Cushman, owned by Italy’s Exor SpA, has been rattled by leadership turmoil, including last winter’s surprise departure of CEO Glen Rufrano.

The moves don’t mean that Cushman, a global giant that’s historically among the city’s top-four commercial brokerages, is falling apart. The firm still boasts such legendary dealmakers as John Cefaly and Tara Stacom (who reps 1 World Trade Center).
