Off-duty cop’s jaw broken in bar attack

A 25-year-old NYPD cop with a year and a half on the job had his jaw broken when several suspects attacked the off-duty officer at a Yonkers bar, sources said.

It’s not clear what started the row at Fagan’s Ale House on McLean Avenue around 2:50 a.m. Sunday, but up to four men attacked the young officer, sources said.

The bar is just north of the Bronx-Westchester County line.

At least two people were in custody by Sunday afternoon, but it was not immediately clear if they had been charged. Investigators would not say whether they were seeking additional suspects.

The injured officer was taken to a Bronx hospital in stable condition, sources said.
