Jordache’s Ralph Nakash buys $6.9M Fifth Avenue home

Ralph Nakash, of the Jordache Enterprises empire that began with jeans, just closed on a $6.9 million home at 812 Fifth Avenue — one year after the Nakash family bought the Versace mansion in Miami.

Jordache, which once stood for jeans, has moved into many businesses, including commercial real estate, hotels and resorts.

The three bedroom, four and a half bath apartment includes a living room, library and master bedroom facing Central Park.

The seller is Morton L. Olshan, founder and chairman of Olshan Properties–and a principal owner of Yankee Nets LLC. The 19-story limestone-clad co-op building was built in 1963 and was, at one time, the residence of Nelson Rockefeller.

The buyer was represented by Douglas Elliman’s Tavivian Sporn Team.
