Barilla loses shoppers after anti-gay remarks

City macaroni lovers told pasta czar Guido Barilla what he could do with his Bigotoni on Friday after he said gays have no place in the company’s “classic family” ads.

“The gay people should protest” over “the stupid guy,’’ said Joe Estrada, who manages the Associated supermarket on West 14th Street near Eighth Avenue.

Chirlane McCray, wife of mayor candidate Bill de Blasio, tweeted a photo of herself eyeing another brand in a grocery aisle and responded to Barilla’s dare to choose another brand by tweeting, “Invitation accepted.’’

More than 2,100 people e-signed a Change.org petition from Shelton, Conn., mom Linda Ferraro asking her local Stop & Shop to yank its “anti-gay pasta.”

Bertolli, a rival known for its gay-friendly ads, needled Barilla with a Facebook post proclaiming, “Pasta and Love for all!”
