‘SNL’ newbie f-bomb

It was a memorable opening night for the newest cast member of “Saturday Night Live,” Jenny Slate — who dropped a f-bomb during a skit.

The obscenity was apparently unintentional.

During a skit about biker chicks, Slate said:

“You frickin’ just threw an ashtray full of butts at my head. You know what, you stood up for yourself and I f- – -ing love you for that.”

Viewers could see her go white and puff her cheeks when she realized what she said — but the routine went on and the apparent slip was not mentioned.

Yesterday, an NBC spokeswoman said the show was not commenting on the incident.

Slate, 27, was one of two new cast members who made their first appearances on the season-opener of “SNL.”

The incident was reminiscent of another “SNL” newcomer, comic Charles Rocket, who also used the same word unintentionally during a skit in 1981.

He was fired the next week. The snafu dogged his career ever after and Rocket committed suicide in 2005.
