Bibi means business . . . too bad Bam doesn’t

Bouquets to Jennifer Fermino’s article “Bibi Blasts Spineless UN: Uses Holocaust File To Shame Israel-Haters” (Sept. 25)

Fermino extracts the most important message from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech, in which he spoke about the lies spewed by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his constant tirade and denial of the Holocaust.

Netanyahu’s speech was informative and compelling, particularly when he held up blueprints for Ausch- witz.

Bravo to Netanyahu, and bravo to those nations that boycotted Iran’s speech and those who left in protest. As Netanyahu said, “Have you no shame? Have you no decency?”

God bless Netanyahu. Finally, someone has the nerve to stand up to Ahmadinejad.

Ahmadinejad is an uneducated, delusional thug who thinks that if he says something enough times, it will be taken as fact.

I’m ashamed and embarrassed that our president didn’t make a similar speech.

There should have been no need for Netanyahu to provide documents to negate the rantings of a known lunatic.

It seems that nothing proactive ever happens at the United Nations.

Netanyahu has to be one of the most eloquent and courageous men ever to address that body of useless do-nothings.

Senators like Chuck Schumer, Carl Levin, Frank Lautenburg, Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer and Russ Feingold should hang their heads in shame and ask this man to speak before Congress.

Three cheers for Netanyahu. Let’s hope that he continues to protect Israel and, in doing so, helps protect the United States as well.

Netanyahu was absolutely right to warn the international community about the catastrophic consequences of the “marriage between religious fundamentalism” and weapons of mass destruction.

Israel should show the world that it means business by starting to dismantle its nuclear arsenal. At the same time, Netanyahu should tell the religious fundamentalists in his country to stop building settlements that are illegal under international law.

Leading by example may go a long way to convince others to do the same.

Thank you, Netanyahu. Unfortunately, you are the only world leader smart enough to understand how serious the Islamist threat is to the world.

Extremists have caused death and destruction around the globe, and all we get are world leaders who are afraid of offending them.

Thank you so much for the wonderful coverage of Netanyahu’s speech.

The New York Times gave it such bizarrely short shrift that, for a moment, I thought I’d actually received a day-old paper by mistake.

The Post’s front page, “Bibi Puts Scoundrels to Shame at the UN” is brilliant and incredibly honorable.

Israel should be very proud of Netanyahu and the courageous speech he delivered.

In stark contrast, President Obama apologized for imaginary ills to thuggish diplomats and tyrants who would do America and Israel harm.

Obama should have given the speech that Netanyahu gave. Unfortunately, the leader of a little nation had to say what the president of the world’s only superpower couldn’t bring himself to say.

For that reason, I am utterly ashamed to have Obama as my president. As of today, Netanyahu is my leader. I look to Israel to provide the leadership and voice for freedom that my own country no longer has the spine to provide.
