Betty Draper has made her way back home — or, at least, the actress who plays her has. Here’s January Jones in modern-day apparel, sans her TV alter-ego’s perfect 1960s makeup and coif, catching a flight from Los Angeles to New York, where her series “Mad Men” is based.
The 31-year-old actress is in town for the week preparing for her first-ever “Saturday Night Live” hosting gig on Saturday. The Black Eyed Peas are the musical guests.
Jones, riding high off of “Mad Men’s” recent and numerous Emmy Award wins, will be promoting her upcoming feature film “Pirate Radio.”
Last Sunday night’s third season finale of “Mad Men” — in which Betty Draper (Jones) was last seen on an airplane heading to Reno to get a quickie divorce from her ad exec husband Don Draper (Jon Hamm) — was watched by 2.3 million viewers, making it the most-watched episode of the AMC drama yet.
