Who needs a plane ticket when you can eat and drink like a Brazilian in the heart of NYC? Chef Marco A. Moreira (Tocqueville, 15 East), a São Paulo native, is hosting a World Cup pop-up experience inside his soon-to-open Brazilian spot.

Indulge in Caipirinhas (Brazil’s national cocktail, made with cachaça, sugar, lime, and mint), traditional fare like feijoada (a stew of black beans and meats) and tasty salgadinhos (snacks like cheese puffs, croquettes and meat pies).

Botequim will air all games, and is offering a special roast suckling pig when Brazil is playing. Saude!

Tsao’s pride for China and Korea has run deep since 2002 , when he lived in China and both nation’s teams participated in the World Cup.

For this year’s tournament, Kirin drafts will be slashed to $3 each, a Passion Caipirinha is $10 and during Korea and Japan games, when the team scores you can cheer with $3 sake bombs and $1 hot sake shots.
