Stoudemire to attend Dolan’s 4th of July bash

There will be fireworks tonight between Amar’e Stoudemire and owner James Dolan.

Before their big business meeting tomorrow, Stoudemire will be a guest tonight at James Dolan’s annual July 4th party at his North Shore home, The Post has learned.

According to a member of the Suns forward’s camp, Stoudemire was given the invitation to attend the bash that usually is attended by nearly 1,000 people and is known for its extravagant nature, usually featuring a fireworks show.

Several Knick and Garden executives are normally in attendance and sometimes players.

The Dolan July 4th bash will cap a busy day for Stoudemire, who is close to agreeing on a maximum $100 million contract with the Knicks tomorrow if things go well with the club’s presentation and tour.

Stoudemire initially had breakfast with Mike D’Antoni this morning to clear the air over reports of their past differences. Stoudemire as recently as March was quoted knocking D’Antoni’s lack of defensive strategy while at Phoenix.

Stoudemire then attended today’s Yankees game at Yankee Stadium, sitting behind home plate. Stoudemire landed last night, took in a Broadway show and later talked of trying to recruit Carmelo Anthony and Tony Parker – even though both are not free agents and under contract. Each player becomes free agents in 2011.

LeBron James, meanwhile, is mulling his options and the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reported he may not have a decision until Thursday after his Akron kids camp.
