New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez seems to be enjoying his Major League Baseball-imposed ‘timeout’ as he recently donned a sombrero and joined a mariachi band during a recent trip to Cancun, Mexico.
Two Twitter users snapped photos of A-Rod strumming along with the band in Cancun.
The embattled slugger was recently suspended without pay for the entirety of the 2014 Major League Baseball season by Commissioner Bud Selig for his involvement with Biogenesis, a Florida-based clinic that gave athletes performance-enhancing drugs.
Following his suspension for the 2014 season, Rodriguez has three more years left on his contract with the Yankees.
