Signal problems shut down Manhattan subway lines

Signal problems have shut down service on several Manhattan subway lines, authorities said.

The 1 train was suspended about 9:45 a.m. from the South Ferry to the 137th stop, according to an MTA spokeswoman.

There is no 3 train service between Chambers and 148th Street.

And the 2 is running on the 5 line between 149th Street in the Bronx and Nevins Street in Brooklyn.

Local service is starting to be restored, but hasn’t yet.
