4 injured when MTA bus plows through Sugar Hill building

An MTA bus plowed into a handful of pedestrians after it collided with a minivan — and sent the M4 into a Sugar Hill eatery, authorities said.

The accident happened just after 7:35 a.m. when the bus jumped the curb at West 155th Street and Broadway and careened into Tommy’s Grill, according to authorities.

“There was a poor guy on the ground bleeding from everywhere. There was blood dripping down his head. He had blood on his hands,” said a worker at Tommy’s Grill who identified himself as Greg K.

A worker inside the restaurant was struck by flying debris during the accident, he explained.

Two of the victims were rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital and two others went to Harlem Hospital with minor injuries, authorities said.

“The pedestrians started to run but two couldn’t get out of the way on time,” he explained.
