Bikers planned wild Times Square rally

Sunday’s attack by motorcyclists on a Manhattan motorist was supposed to be a wild rally through Times Square, like one from last year caught on a shocking YouTube video.

On Aug. 24, 2012, hundreds of bikers – men and women – on motorcycles and three-wheeled ATVs sped through Midtown in broad daylight, weaving through both lanes of traffic, popping wheelies and blowing through red lights as stunned pedestrians gaped from the sidewalks.

The crazed bikers ignored traffic laws, drove south in northbound lanes and rocketed through bike and bus lanes with impunity – and without a cop in sight.

The mob planned a similar rally Sunday, but the NYPD was waiting for them and prevented them from taking over Times Square, busting several and confiscating a number of motorcycles.

Comments on the YouTube video promoted this year’s rally for “Sept 29 hbp 2013,” a week ago.

Since the attack on Alexian Lien and his wife and 2-year-old daughter, many of the comments slammed the bikers.

“Those f–kers should be tried as terrorists,” said one.

“Someone needs to just take a bat to these friggin bikes next time we see them,” added another.
