Moments after he was run over by a Range Rover, a photo was taken of biker Edwin Mieses lying face down on the West Side Highway.
Mieses is surrounded by members of his biker gang with one man holding his hand. The injured biker’s legs are bent at unnatural angles.
The motorcyclist was allegedly plowed into by Alexian Lien, who was trying to escape the gang. Lien and his family were pursued and Lien was brutally beaten.
Mieses remains in a medically-induced coma at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center with severe injuries, including two broken legs, bruised lungs and spinal fractures.
