A rapper was busted for driving while high on marijuana early Wednesday in The Bronx.
Joseph Jones, who goes by the stage name Jim Jones, was pulled over in his Chevy Impala for speeding on the Sheridan Expressway, near Westchester Avenue, around 1:45 a.m., law enforcement sources said.
The Bronx native whose songs include “We Fly High,” appeared to be intoxicated and had blood-shot eyes, sources said.
He refused to take a breathalyzer test and was arrested for driving while impaired by drugs, sources added.
Jones was an original member of The Diplomats, also known as Dipset, and is the co-CEO of Diplomat Records.
