Warren Buffett offers investors autographed diamonds

Warren Buffett is betting shareholders will pay up for a pricey souvenir from his annual investor-palooza.

Berkshire Hathaway shareholders looking to get the legendary investor’s autograph at the May 3 annual meeting can buy a diamond with his signature etched into it.

Berkshire’s Borsheims jewelry store is selling 26 loose diamonds in sizes ranging from 0.75 carat to 5 carats and at prices from $5,000 to more than $200,000.

Shareholders will also have a shot at buying a diamond directly from Buffett, who plans to pose as a Borsheims salesman at the event.

Buffett has made it a tradition to offer a limited-edition souvenir at his annual shareholder meeting in Omaha, Neb., where thousands flock to hear him speak.

Past offerings have included $8 See’s candies with Buffett’s face on the box and $110 Brooks running shoes with Buffett in sweats in the insole.
