No need to pack your bags, New Yorkers!
The Big Apple is the country’s best vacation city — beating out San Francisco and Chicago as this year’s top destination spot, a new survey claims.
The travel review Web site TripAdvisor.com ranked the city No. 1 for the second year in a row, based on millions of reviews from travelers.
San Francisco placed second, Chicago placed third and Orlando, Fla. — home of the tourist magnet Walt Disney World — fell five spots to No. 10.
The Web site determines winners based on the quality and quantity of reviews for hotels, restaurants and other attractions in each city during a one-year period.
Las Vegas placed fourth, New Orleans placed fifth and Los Angeles placed sixth.
Seattle rose three places to the eighth spot, and Washington dropped three to No. 9.
New York City may be popular in the US, but it didn’t make it onto a list of best vacation cities in the world.
