Tea Party: IRS still on vendetta

WASHINGTON — The IRS and other Obama administration agencies are still targeting conservative groups, Tea Party advocates told a House panel Thursday.

Catherine Engelbrecht, founder and president of a Tea Party group in Houston, testified that her business, nonprofit group and family have been hit with at least 15 audits or inquiries by the feds, including the IRS, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, and the FBI.

“The FBI contacted my nonprofit organization on six separate occasions, wanting to cull through membership manifests in conjunction with domestic terrorism cases,” she said. “They eventually dropped all matters and have now redacted nearly all my files.”
