Port Authority cops bust­ed a driver allegedly in possession of more than 4 ounces of pot heading into Manhattan via the George Washington Bridge, officials said.

Nathaniel Carter, 25, was about to enter the Manhattan-bound lanes at 8 p.m. last Thursday when PA ­Officer Frank Emblem pulled him over for driving with a broken headlight on his 2008 Chrysler, cops said.

The cop smelled marijuana in the car and found in the vehicle two Ziploc bags of weed and an electronic scale, ­officials said.

Carter was charged with drug possession and held on $5,000 bail, according to PAPD spokesman Joe ­Pentangelo.

Brooklyn

Police have released a sketch of a man wanted for raping a woman in her Park Slope apartment, ­authorities said.

The 20-year-old victim was in her home near Union Street and Prospect Park West at around 8 p.m. on Nov. 11 when the suspect forced his way in and raped her, cops said.


Two masked thieves held up a Clinton Hill convenience store at gunpoint, authorities said.

The men walked into L.G. Deli at around 6 p.m. Saturday with their hoods worn up to partially hide their faces, cops said.

The robbers strolled around the establishment until all the customers had left, then went up to the counter, where one pulled a gun and ordered the clerk to hand over cash from the register.

The clerk tried to grab the gun and failed, and luckily wasn’t shot. He wound up handing over about $900.

The thieves fled into the Lafayette Gardens housing complex.

They are described as in their 20s, about 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds.


A livery-cab driver was robbed at gunpoint in East New York, authorities said.

The robber flagged down the taxi near Fulton Street and Brooklyn Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 6, cops said, and the driver took him to his destination.

There, the thief pulled a gun and demanded the ­victim’s cash and iPhone.

The robber fled with about $1,000 and the smartphone, cops said.

The suspect is described as light complexioned with a trimmed mustache and beard, about 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans and tan boots, cops said.

The Bronx

An intrepid teller thwarted a would-be note-passing bank bandit in Eastchester, authorities said.

The thug walked into the HSBC branch at Corsa ­Avenue and Boston Road at 1:20 p.m. on Nov. 27 and handed the teller a note demanding $8,000 in cash, officials said.

The teller balked, and the suspect fled empty-handed, cops said.

The thief was last seen wearing a red leather jacket with the hood pulled up and glasses.


Three half-wits in Hunts Point kicked in a door and entered an apartment demanding cash, but quickly retreated when the victim chased them out, cops said.

The unarmed men forced their way into a building vestibule near Randall and Hunts Point avenues at around 3 a.m. on Nov. 2, then barged their way into a resident’s apartment and shouted, “Where’s the money at?” police said.

The victim managed to fight the men off, and the thieves fled empty-handed, police said.

Staten Island

A man was busted for shooting a rival in the hip in Port Richmond, according to a Criminal Court complaint.

Russell Baker, 30, fired his gun at his foe, nailing him in the torso at Henderson Avenue and Broadway at around 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 24, court papers show.

The victim was rushed to the hospital. His condition was not immediately revealed.

Baker is facing charges of assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal use of a weapon.
