Students snap selfies amid Arizona NCAA riot

They just couldn’t pass up the chance for a selfie.

Two pretty co-eds used a wild riot at the University of Arizona to take an odd selfie Saturday night.

The girls, standing amid the chaos that unfolded in Tucson after Arizona’s overtime loss in the NCAA tournament, were captured mid-selfie by a photographer at the scene.

The students feigned terror while casually taking the picture.

“Epic selfie,” wrote a person on Instagram, while others created the hashtag #riotselfie.

Arizona’s 64-63 loss to the Wisconsin Badgers in Anaheim, Calif., caused the school’s students to create havoc in the streets back home, throwing beer bottles and firecrackers at police officers.

Officers fired pepper spray and pepper balls in response, and 15 people were arrested.
