A man bit a hole in the cheek of a guy who spurned his advances in a Chelsea bar, authorities said.

Seymour Hewitt, 39, made a pass at the victim in the Gym Bar on Eighth Avenue at around 9:15 p.m. May 8, sources said.

But when the object of his affection rejected him, he went wild, allegedly biting the man’s face, the sources added.

The 39-year-old victim was bleeding profusely when cops arrived.

Hewitt also attacked two other bargoers — a 36-year-old whose finger he bit and a 43-year-old whom he gave a black eye, police sources said.

Hewitt fled into an apartment building where he tried to hide, but Police Officer Joe Spector tracked him down and arrested him, officials said.

Hewitt was charged with three counts of assault and one count of attempted assault, court records show.

Spector received a Cop of the Month award for nabbing the suspect.


A woman was arrested for allegedly attacking a waitress at a popular Chelsea club.

Shannon Burke, 29, allegedly decked the 30-year-old employee inside Avenue Nightclub on Tenth Avenue near West 17th Street at around 3:20 a.m. Saturday, sources said.

It’s not clear what set off Burke, but cops soon arrived and charged the Brooklyn woman with assault, authorities said.


An unlicensed hack was arrested after arguing with a customer over a fare in Chelsea and then allegedly giving cops fake identification to avoid a summons for posing as a cabby, sources said.

Lucker Jean-Louis, 39, first got into the dispute with the passenger on West 16th Street near Ninth Avenue around 7:20 p.m. Saturday, law-enforcement sources said.

When his passenger called police to settle the argument, Jean-Louis allegedly gave responding cops the fake documents to avoid getting a summons for driving the cab without a license, sources added.

The cabby was busted for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal impersonation.


Staten Island

An off-duty cop was arrested and charged with DWI after crashing his car in St. George, police say.

Andrew Greco got into the smash-up around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, cops said.

When police responded to the scene, they suspected that Greco, 43, was drunk and cuffed him, officials said.

Two cars were involved, but the NYPD did not release where the accident occurred and declined to say how many people were in the vehicles. No one was injured, they said.


The Bronx

Several straphangers were injured and some arrested after a brawl over a subway seat in the South Bronx, police said.

The dispute aboard the northbound 5 train turned violent when Paul Obregon, 27, attacked a 19-year-old women around 6:50 p.m. Saturday, cops said.

Obregon also slashed a 26-year-old man in the head, police said.

The injured man was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was expected to survive.

Two more women, Walliris Velez, 27, and Carla LaMarche, 23, were arrested for allegedly punching each other in the face, too.

Obregon, Velez and LaMarche were charged with assault.

Obregon was also charged with weapon possession.


A gunman robbed a DJ who was performing at a house party in Soundview, authorities said.

Gustavo Leon, 23, whipped out a pistol in the middle of the gathering on Morrison Avenue around 2 a.m. Jan. 12 and snarled, “Give me the money!” a criminal court complaint charges.

The DJ handed over his wallet, which Leon then pilfered and returned, records state.

The alleged thief was busted May 31 and charged with robbery, grand larceny, menacing, petit larceny, weapon possession and possession of stolen property.


A man who was caught with crack in Soundview tried to outrun cops and swallow his drugs before socking an officer in the mouth, authorities said.

Rodney Dunbar, 22, had a rock of crack in plain view on Story Avenue around 8:30 p.m. May 30, when a cop approached, a criminal court complaint states.

Seeing the uniformed officer, Dunbar shouted, “F—k you!” and ran, records allege.

The cop caught up to Dunbar, who bit into the plastic bag containing the crack and tried to swallow it, documents stated.

When the cop prevented him from eating the drug, Dunbar punched him in the jaw, court papers claim.

The duo then rolled around on the ground, with the suspect flailing his arms, kicking his feet and swinging at the cop, records state.

The officer eventually cuffed the suspect, and he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, assault, tampering with evidence and resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration.
