SKIPPING XMAS

If you’re not a tree-trimming family, Christmas can be a snore – or a day at the movies. Here’s what else is out there on Thursday:

* It’s Klez for Kids at The Museum at Eldridge Street, where clarinetist Greg Wall and his Klezmerfest band leads a musical tour of Eastern Europe, ending with a wedding in which you play the guests. Two shows, at noon and 2:30 p.m., $12 for adults, $8 for kids. 12 Eldridge St., between Canal and Division streets; 212-219-0302.

* A hands-on Hanukkahthon at the Children’s Galleries for Jewish Culture promises lamp-making, temple-building, music and more. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., $8. 515 W. 20th St., Suite 4E, one block east of Chelsea Piers; 212-924-4500.

* Imagine if Weird Al were female and a big fan of family fun, and you just might get Mama Doni (left), whose tunes include “La Vida Dreidel.” She’s playing two shows at the Jewish Museum, at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. $12 for adults, $7.50 kids. 1109 Fifth Ave., at 92nd Street; 212-423-3200.
