Cop arrested after dragging his child’s mother with car

An NYPD cop dragged his nine-months-pregnant wife with his car as the two fought in front of their young son in The Bronx early Sunday, authorities and sources said.

The off-duty cop then hopped out of the vehicle — while their 3-year-old son was in the back seat — looked at his wife on the ground and said, “You’re crazy’’ before driving off again, according to court papers and sources.

The incident occurred as the woman, 23, reached into the car for the boy and her husband, Officer Julio Jimenez, began driving away around 2 a.m. in Throgs Neck, sources said.

Jimenez, 29, drove slowly with the woman half-in and half-out of the car, leaving her with scrapes and bruises on her knees, right thigh
and buttocks and a bruise on the back of her head, according to court papers and sources.

She was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.

Jimenez later turned himself in and was charged with assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and leaving the scene of an accident.

He has four to five years on the job and is assigned to the NYPD’s 42nd Precinct in Tremont.

The couple has a history of violence. She was arrested for allegedly assaulting him on May 23.
