The controversy over the Redskins team name will spread to the NBA Finals on Tuesday night.
The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation tribe in California, which wants Washington to eliminate its nickname, has paid for a one-minute commercial to air during Game 3.
The ad will air in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Sacramento, San Francisco and Washington.
A two-minute version of the spot (above) was posted on YouTube shortly before this year’s Super Bowl.
