Food Network drops Paula Deen’s son

The Food Network has let go another Deen, The Post has learned.

Jamie Deen, the son of former Food Network personality Paula Deen and host of “Home for Dinner with Jamie Deen,” will not have his show renewed, sources said.

The younger Deen’s show is currently in reruns.

“I know Jamie has not been renewed,” a source close to the situation said.

Last June, the Food Network canceled Paula’s two shows due to low ratings soon after it was learned that she used the “N” word at her Savannah, Ga., restaurant.

Paula announced June 11 that she was returning to TV via a namesake streaming network that will launch later this year and feature her own show along with content featuring her son. She plans to charge viewers about $10 a month.

“Home for Dinner with Jamie Deen” has run for two seasons on the Food Network. Season one premiered in June 2012 and season two in September the following year, about three months after the cable network booted his mom.

Paula’s second son, Bobby Deen, hosts “Not My Mama’s Meals” on the Cooking Channel. He also is working on a new show concept for the channel, a spokeswoman said.

Paula Deen launched her cooking career in Savannah by making sandwiches at home and having her sons deliver them door to door.

The Food Network and Cooking Channel spokeswoman declined comment on Jamie’s current status.

The Deen family could not be reached.
