Blowout free for ’cane vics

He’s tamed the tresses of such Hollywood beauties as Eva Longoria, Rosario Dawson and Olivia Wilde — but today stylist to the stars Ricardo Rojas is taking on Hurricane Sandy.

Rojas and his small army of scissors-wielding volunteers have an appointment in Far Rockaway this afternoon to wash, cut and blow-dry Sandy victims who could use a little lift.

“It’s not a life-and-death situation, your hair,” said Rojas’ partner, Jim Mannino, “but it’s an enormous factor on how you feel about yourself.”

Rojas normally charges $125 for the most basic cut-and-dry at his Upper East Side salon, but Sandy victims can get the star treatment today for free by signing up at the Web site farrockawaywatchdogs.org.

The event is set to serve up to 150 Sandy victims between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at PS 105 at 420 Beach 51st St.

Hitting the barbershop or salon has probably been one of the lowest priorities for Sandy victims, making today’s event all the more important.

“Many of these people still don’t have phone service, and a majority of them have not received any agency money at all,” said event organizer Stacy Lippin Kestin.

“We just want these people to know we know they’re there.” Organizers said Rojas will bring a multi-ethnic team of stylists, able to handle virtually any length, style or texture of hair.

With temporary salon stations set up in PS 105’s gym, stylists are asking customer to come with their hair already wet and washed.

“Obviously we’re a little limited in terms of what we can do with [no] coloring or treatments,” Mannino said.
