Jennifer Lawrence suffered a wardrobe malfunction of sorts at Sunday’s SAG Awards, with the actress momentarily showing off her legs.
It happened as she walked to the stage to accept the award for Best Female Actor in a Film for “Silver Linings Playbook.”
According to E! Online, Lawrence’s navy Christian Dior gown separated, revealing sheer lining between the dress’s layers.
She momentarily paused during her walk, smoothing her dress and collecting herself, apparently failing to notice the material lapse.
During her speech, she thanked MTV – she earned her SAG card at age 14, when she appeared in a promo for “My Super Sweet 16.”
A Dior spokesperson said today: ““The dress is made with different levels of Tulle and satin and that is what the viewers saw when Jennifer lifted her dress slightly. It was not ripped and there was no malfunction…it was the design of the gown.”
“Oh my God, this is incredible, thank you so much,” she said.
