Ex Pret worker gets jail time for customer credit card scam

A couple of cunning ex-Pret A Manger workers were sentenced Wednesday after admitting to skimming credit card numbers for months at the popular eatery.

Nigel McCollum, 23, received 1-1/3 to four years jail time after pleading guilty to identity theft, forgery, grand larceny and other related charges for swiping more than 100 customers’ credit card numbers and using them to make forged cards last year.

His on-again, off-again girlfriend, Lenica Greene, 24, who helped him carry out the scheme, pleaded guilty to the same charges and got off with five years probation.

Credit card-making equipment, skimmers, embossers and encoders were found in McCollum’s Washington Heights apartment after the duo was busted.
