Condo Strategies: Improving Value, Condition & Quality of Life

Condominiums are the fastest growing segment of New York City’s housing stock, but the law is inadequate to protect boards and unit owners who are responsible for organizing and operating these complex properties. Often the new unit owners do not know one another and have little experience in operating a building. Attorney Stuart Saft is chairman of the Board of CNYC. He will answer questions and provide guidance about unit owner and board priorities; obligations and responsibilities of the sponsor and the board, and how to organize the owners and the board. All interested condominium owners are welcome to attend this class, but advanced registration is required. There is no cost to representatives of CNYC member condos; non-affiliates are welcome at a fee of $35 if paid in advance or $50 at the door. 7 pm. Location TBA. Register by calling CNYC at 212-496-7400.
