Live blog recap: PSAL Class A & B baseball finals

The PSAL baseball season has reached its final day. It feels like the year began just yesterday – the spring season has that kind of feel to it. Or, maybe, it was just so enjoyable time flew by.

The season is slated for a dramatic finish, first with Queens schools No. 11 Martin Van Buren and No. 13 John Bowne meeting in the PSAL Class B crown at 1 p.m. followed by the blockbuster ‘A’ final between No. 1 George Washington and No. 3 Tottenville.

Can Tottenville win back-to-back titles in memory of Tom Tierney Sr., the deceased father of current coach Tom Tierney Jr.? Will Steve Mandl, the legendary coach suspended for alleged recruiting, be allowed back with his team? Or will interim coach Nick Carbone complete the memorabe year with a title? Can Tottenville ace Michael Sullivan put a capper to his dominant postseason, which includes 15-2/3 shutout innings?

Those questions will all be answered by early Saturday evening. If you can’t make it to picturesque MCU Park on Coney Island, The Post’s Zach Braziller and Joseph Stazsewski will be on hand with all the action in our renowned interactive live blog.
