Live blog recap: CHSAA baseball intersectional playoffs

After a wild opening day, the CHSAA Class A intersectional tournament resumes Thursday and the eight-team field will be reduced to six when the dust clears.

The double-elimination tournament will be played at three sites, with Fordham University’s Houlihan Park hosting a winner’s bracket doubleheader, while Kaiser Stadium on the campus of St. John’s University and Salesian HS in New Rochelle will be the scene of two dramatic elimination games.

Kaiser Stadium will also host the CHSAA Class B intersectional title game, featuring two-time defending champions St. John’s Prep and Monsignor Scanlan.

If you can’t make it out to the park Thursday, fear not. The Post will bring you an all-encompassing live blog with Dylan Butler reporting live from St. John’s and Joseph Staszewski coming at you from Fordham.
