As well as top pick Steven Matz, a left-handed pitcher from Long Island, the Mets announced the signings of three other draft choices today.
Also agreeing to terms were ninth-rounder Jeffrey Glenn, a catcher from from Winter Haven, Fla., High School; 13th-rounder Zachary Dotson, a lefty pitcher from Effingham County, Ga., High School; and 39th-rounder selection Anthony Whitenton, a righty pitcher from Darton, Ga., College.
Glenn, Dotson and Whitenton will join Matz with the Gulf Coast Mets.
