I don’t know if Pacheco will hook up with the team in Argentina, but it wouldn’t shock me to see Costa Rican Carlos Johnson show up. The 24-year-old has been playing in Norway for Bryne FC, and sporing director Jeff Agoos had said the fullback would have to clear up any intanglements with his club team before the Red Bulls did anything with him.
“He certainly is a candidate that we’re discussing,” Agoos said. “He would have to sort out his situation there.”
