After a long hiatus, Davis’ power stroke returning

It took Ike Davis almost 300 at-bats to hit his first professional home run. But with the first one out of the way, Davis is starting to find his stroke with High-A St. Lucie. Davis, the top pick from the Mets 2008 First-Year Player Draft, hit his third home run of the season for St. Lucie Sunday in a 6-0 win for the Mets.

Davis is hitting .282 with the three homers and 17 RBI in 46 games with St. Lucie.
