This was the sights and sounds at legendary soccer pub Nevada Smith’s in Manhattan when the Red Bulls closed out their 1-0 win in the Western Conference final. They clinched their first-ever league final, and sealed a big in next year’s CONCACAF Champions League while they were at it.
Fitting. This place usually sounds like this for the, ahem, real Champions League. But this wasn’t Manchester United or Chel$ki these people were hollarin’ for, but Red Bull. Maybe the worm really has turned for this franchise, and MLS soccer in this city…
