Plenty of juice in new trailer for ‘Orange Is the New Black’

Fans of “Orange Is the New Black” now have their first taste of the acclaimed prison drama’s new season.

On Thursday, Netflix released a two-minute trailer for the upcoming season of “Orange,” which kicks off June 6 with stars Taylor Schilling, Jason Biggs, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Natasha Lyonne, Laverne Cox and many others.

Last season ended with Piper (Schilling) giving a beatdown to a fellow inmate — and, based on the new clip, it looks like she has no regrets, referring to herself as “a lone wolf” and saying that her prison cell is, “sadly, starting to feel like home.”

Another inmate calls the prison “like, next-level crazy,” and a wide-eyed newbie says, “This is not how I imagined prison to be at all.” (Girl, you have NO idea.)

The clip also shows most of the show’s familiar characters, including “Crazy Eyes” (Uzo Aduba) and transgender Sophia (Cox), and also gives us a peek at new character Yvonne “Vee” Parker (Lorraine Toussaint), who has a history with Red (Mulgrew) — and apparently they’re about to reconnect.

Viewers are also left to wonder the fate of Sister Ingalls (Beth Fowler), who is seen wheelchair-bound, being pushed down a hallway lined with inmates — with a smile on her face and her arms raised triumphantly in the air. Is her release imminent?

The trailer isn’t limited to the dysfunctional inmates, either, with glimpses of manipulative prison administrator Natalie Figueroa (Alysia Reiner) and — yup, he’s baa-aaaack — abusive prison guard George “Pornstache” Mendez (Pablo Schreiber).

Schilling was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
