Queens

■ Authorities released a sketch of a man wanted for questioning in regards to a seemingly unprovoked, fatal attack in Woodside.

Roberto Martires, 56, was standing on Roosevelt Avenue near 69th Street at midnight on June 21 when he was socked in the face by an unknown assailant, police said.

Martires crumpled to the ground, slamming his head against the sidewalk, according to cops. Martires was rushed to Elmhurst General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries three days later.

The suspect, believed to be about 30 years old, is between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-7.


Manhattan

■ The 6-foot-9 hulk suspected of raping a Washington Heights woman has been arrested, cops said.

Jean Rodriguez forced his way inside the 20-year-old victim’s apartment and attacked her after she answered a knock on her door Tuesday at about 11:30 p.m., police said.

The brute was captured on video surveillance and later linked him to the crime, cops said.

Rodriguez, 23, who lives in The Bronx, was arrested on the second floor of an East Harlem building on East 123rd Street Thursday at about 8 p.m. by Special Victims Unit cops, sources said.

Rodriguez has been charged with rape, burglary, menacing, sexual abuse and criminal sex act, cops said.


Staten Island

■ Two muggers robbed two pizza delivery men after placing orders from a Stapleton apartment, law-enforcement sources said.

Demetrius Smith, 18, was with a pal when they lured a delivery man to an apartment at Gray and Hudson streets on May 26 and robbed him, a Criminal Court complaint states.

Smith acted as lookout while his pal pulled a box cutter on the delivery man and said, “Give me everything,” sources said. The victim forked over $120, according to a Criminal Court complaint.

On June 28, they allegedly mugged another delivery man after placing an order from a different pizzeria.

Smith allegedly acted as lookout while his buddy pulled a gun on the delivery man and said, “Give me the money.”

They got $25 and the victim’s iPhone, and Smith also was compensated with a bag of pot, the complaint states.

Smith was arrested on July 12 and was charged with robbery, cops said. The accomplice is still at large.


 Brooklyn

■ Firefighters from Crown Heights Engine Company 280 gave chase to a burglar after spotting him break into a car and steal a purse, sources said.

The firefighters were doing a building inspection at Park Place and Franklin Avenue at 11:30 a.m. Friday when they saw a man break into the 2011 Acura and snatch the handbag, according to the FDNY.

The heroes chased him down to Classon Avenue and Park Place where he was stopped, officials said.

They notified police, who arrested Ricardo Beckford, 32. He was charged with grand larceny, cops said.

■ Four teens are wanted for thefts committed over a 15-minute span in Dyker Heights, authorities said.

The hoodlums, ranging in age from 14 to 17, approached their first victim at the corner of 71st Street and Eighth Avenue on June 9 at 8:30 p.m. and snatched $2 from the 23-year-old woman’s hand, according to cops.

Ten minutes later, the punks snatched a 42-year-old woman’s purse, containing $300 and two checks, at 73rd Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway, police said.

At 8:45 p.m., the foursome attempted to snatch a 39-year-old woman’s purse in front of her home on 74th Street, officials said.

The victim resisted and the thugs fled empty-handed.


 The Bronx

■ A 49-year-old woman was discovered dead by her boyfriend in her Brighton Beach apartment, cops said.

The victim was in her living room on Brighton 15th Street and Brightwater Avenue at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, according to police. Her boyfriend alerted police, who were questioning him, cops said.

The NYPD wouldn’t disclose if she had any immediate signs of trauma.

The woman’s name is being withheld pending proper family notification, cops said.

A woman has been charged with stabbing her boyfriend in the chest multiple times, cops said.

Tanaysha Cerge, 21, was fighting with her 39-year-old beau on July 7 inside a Walton Avenue apartment near Grand Concourse when she knifed him, according to police.

The victim was hospitalized in stable condition.
