Comedian tries to laugh off ‘surprise’ Airbnb orgy

He unwittingly hosted an orgy, his clothes are mysteriously “damp” and he has close to $67,000 worth of damages to his posh Manhattan apartment. So, what does comedian Ari Teman do?

He tells jokes, of course.

“How was everyone’s weekend / Purim / illegal ‘XXX Freak Fest!?’ ” Teman tweeted, along with: “Does anyone want a VERY used couch? (No. The answer is No. You do not want this couch.)”

Days after he was allegedly duped into turning over his Chelsea apartment to a sex-party promoter, Teman says he is able to see the punch line in his predicament.

Teman, 31, used the popular renting website Airbnb to lease his apartment for a couple of days to a man who claimed to be using the pad to host some wedding guests. But he got the shock of his life Friday night when he returned home to pick up some luggage in time to find building management shutting down a rowdy sex party featuring “Big Beautiful Women.”

The event was billed as “Turn Up Part 2: The Pantie Raid.” A Twitter post also referred to it as an “XXX FREAK FEST.”

Now, his landlord wants him out, his neighbors are mad at him and he’s living out of a hotel because the party promoter posted his address on the Internet.

“What am I going to do?” Teman asked The Post. “My stuff’s destroyed. I have to move.”

Airbnb has reimbursed him for some of the damages, although a final settlement is still in the works. The company is also paying Teman’s hotel bill until he finds another place to live.

“Problems for hosts and guests are incredibly rare, but when they happen, we try to help make things right,” the company said in a statement. “We were appalled when we learned about this incident and we took immediate action to help this host.”

Meanwhile, Teman has to figure out what to do with a broken sofa, a torn lamp and a damaged drum set. And he’s still not sure just what to make of the damp clothes.

“I don’t even want to know,” Teman wrote in a Tumblr post.

But Teman’s decided to make the most of the situation, using it to produce some new material.

“I miss the days of Bloomberg when you had to hold your orgies 15 feet from the building,” he tweeted.

Teman is trying to put the disgusting incident in perspective.

“I think we can all agree a sordid XXX Freak Fest is still classier than anything on Bravo TV,” he wrote.
