And the Winner is….

Even four Giants defrosting on celebrity row today couldn’t spark the Knicks over the Celtics. Those guys must be diehard Knicks fans to head to the Garden after flying in from Green Bay. The Knicks kept their four seats open until Plaxico Burress, R.W. McQuarters and Co. got to the Garden in the second quarter.

By then, the Giants had missed Eddy Curry failing to guard Kendrick Perkins in the first quarter. The Giants all understood the irony of watching a New York-vs.-Boston game. But Plaxico must have been really thankful for the tix when he said, “It’s fitting we’re here, watching two great franchises.”

Congrats to Kenneth for selecting the closest score – having it at Celtics 111, Knicks 93, off by just two points. Best moment of the day came after they showed the Giant players for the first time on the scoreboard and the crowd erupted in a loud “Let’s Go Giants” chant.

Weirdest moment came when Isiah lectured some of the writers for saying he was disappointed nobody asked him about Martin Luther King during his pregame availability with the media. One wiseguy journalist said later if he wanted us to ask him what MLK would have thought of Anucha. Stephon Marbury was in attendance but did not sit on the bench again. I don’t get it. Did a story in today’s Post about his Starburys being discounted in a winter clearance from $14.98 to $7.99. Now that’s insane.
