The folks over at NBC got creative and designed not only Heroes.com, but the âofficial/unofficialâ 9thwonders.com. However, both are mostly pep rallies for the show. If you want to get inside Hiroâs head and fly with the Petrelli brothers, these fan sites may be more your speed:
The concept is that OWI is âOrganization Without Initials,â the group led by Claireâs adopted dad, aka HRG â Horned Rimmed Glasses (again with the initials). OWI is hunting down the heroes. The joke falls a little flat, but any site that wishes for an end to the NBC marketing machine (âStop the taglines!â it begs) can’t be too bad. Plus, it has great images of Isaacâs artwork, for those fans wishing to overanalyze every brushstroke.
Lots of photos of cast members â including a few unsettling ones of Nora Zehetner (who played Eden) with some of her fans. However, itâs worth a trip to the site just to check out the forum group discussing how Claire the cheerleader can have her ears pierced, considering her healing powers.
Download comic books associated with the show as PDF files. What this site lacks in design it makes up for in enthusiasm.
Want to impress your friends and/or ruin âHeroesâ plot twists for everyone? Check out The Deveaux Society. One thing we do like is that each of the spoilers has a source and link to the citation, so you can judge for yourself how valid the claim is that Niki/Jessica will die in episode 18. Oops.
This is a fairly standard, catch-all site. If you want to see âHeroesâ in the news, learn who the characters are (although that info seems to be lifted from Wikipedia, which is a great resource for getting to know the characters) or get into a general discussion, this site is easy to navigate.
