Fans of the “Kill Bill” series have long hoped for a third installment of the franchise, and now it looks as though Quentin Tarantino has been beaten to the punch by Iggy Azalea.
The Australian rapper and sometime samurai has teamed up with Rita Ora and released her own revenge fantasy in this new video for the current single “Black Widow.”
During the five-minute promo, the dynamic duo are depicted seeking out retribution against their shadowy nemesis, played by Michael Madsen. Along the way, they also take out T.I. and “Goodfellas” star Paul Sorvino during a poker game.
Iggy knows the power of movie pastiche. The video for “Fancy” — her No. 1 collaboration with Charli XCX — was an homage to the ’90s comedy “Clueless,” and clearly, “Black Widow” continues that winning formula.
