General manager Ed Stefanski is leaving the Nets after eight-plus seasons with the organization to take the GM post with the Philadelphia 76ers, league sources confirmed Monday night.
Stefanski will replace Billy King, who is out as Sixer GM and president. The announcement is expected today. The Sixers, 5-12 and last in the Atlantic, contacted the Nets about a week ago.
