Court TV’s Jersey Brawl

Court TV is heading to Trenton, N.J., to cast a show about feuding neighbors.

Lauren Gellert, vice president of alternative programming for the cable network, told the Trentonian that “Trenton represents a classic east coast town of modest size and strong convictions.

“”We’re hopeful we can find some strong personalities in Trenton who are taking on the neighbors they feel have done them wrong,””Gellert said.

Whether the disputes are about noise, trash, property lines or crazy personalities, Gellert said “feuds between neighbors are as much a part of Americana as white picket fences.”””Neighbors 911” host and mediator Myke Hawke will be the final arbiter of who’s right and wrong in each case. Hawke, a former Green Beret, is considered tough but fair. –
