Babysitter accused in toddler death refuses to appear in court

The depraved transgender babysitter accused of torturing a toddler to death was indicted Wednesday but refused to appear in a Manhattan court.

Kryzie King, 27, is criminally charged with multiple counts of first-degree assault, child endangerment and unlawful imprisonment related to the death of 4-year old Myls Dobson.

It’s unclear whether the sealed indictment includes a murder charge.

King is being housed in a male-facility on Riker’s Island and refused to leave his cell for his court appearance Wednesday, according to corrections officers.

Myls was left in King’s care after his father — King’s boyfriend, Wade Okee — was locked up in New Jersey on a fraud warrant, according to police.

The child was found unconscious on January 8th covered with bruises and severe burn marks in King’s Midtown luxury high rise after the babysitter took her time to call 911, according to prosecutors.

Myls, who lost 25 pounds in less than three weeks in King’s custody, died after he was taken to Roosevelt Hospital.

Under questioning, King confessed to police she had viciously abused Myls, officials said.

She allegedly told police that the boy was misbehaving.

King had even locked the boy outside on the balcony in his underwear in freezing single-degree temperatures, according to prosecutors.

The boy’s mother, Ashlee Dobson, lost custody of the tot to his father in 2012, a family lawyer said last week.

Myls’ funeral is set for next Tuesday at the First Corinthian Baptist Church in Harlem.

The Administration for Children’s Services said Mayor Bill de Blasio ordered a review of the case.

King is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
