Actor’s ‘roll’ of a lifetime

What will he do for an encore?

Broadway actor Marc Bonan sprang into action to help nab two Brooklyn punks who allegedly tossed him into a lake and robbed him.

The 32-year-old Bonan — who played the part of Philip in the 2012 play “The Columnist,” starring John Lithgow — was reading a book in Prospect Park at around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, when he was jumped, cops said.

Asiel Jackson and Markiel James, both 16, allegedly came from behind and threw him into the pond at Center Drive and West Drive.

They then allegedly took Bonan’s bag and ran off.

Bonan swam out and chased them, before giving cops a description that helped an officer spot and arrest the teens.

They were charged with robbery, grand larceny and attempted assault.

A judge chastised the young men in Brooklyn Criminal Court yesterday.

“You need to take responsibility and make better choices with your lives,” Judge Craig Walker said.

Outside court, a smirking James denied the charges.

His mother snapped at him: “Wipe that damn smile off your face.”

When The Post contacted Bonan, he would say only that he was “feeling fine” and did not “feel like a hero.”
