Ariana Grande forgoes sleeping for singing

She must sleep sometimes, but judging from Ariana Grande’s output, it’s not that often.

Following a summer that’s featured her chart-topping Iggy Azalea collaboration “Problem” and her newly released trio collaboration “Bang Bang” with Nicki Minaj and Jessie J, Grande has just debuted a new single and a video within 24 hours of each other.

The video is for the Zedd-produced track “Break Free” (on which Ariana provides lead vocals) and is clearly influenced by the cult ’60s sci-fi flick “Barbarella.” The campy clip features her doing a zero-gravity striptease, shooting missiles out of her bra and slaying freaky-looking aliens. If that sounds too absurd to be believed, take a look at the clip below.

The new track, “Best Mistake,” is a much more tender, low-key affair and features her new boyfriend, Big Sean. The ballad is featured on her upcoming album, “My Everything,” which drops on August 25.
